It is important to know your audience when telling your story.

Who is your audience?

If you're planning on launching a storytelling project, I strongly suggest you know the answers to these question. Millennials? Mothers? Crossfitters? Runners? That guy down the street (yes, sir, I'm talking to you)?

Watch below for #SimpleStorytelling tips.

Storytelling Tips for Brands - Audience

DO: Be specific about who your audience especially if you’re using social media as your main channel of communication.
DON'T: Just say, "Everyone (and their mama) who has money is my audience."

When a project is marketed through a social media campaign, a large audience is going to be 1) costly and 2) not specific enough that results will be unsatisfactory.

Target with a purpose, know your target demographic.

If you want to talk about brand strategy, storytelling, content development, project management, and/or marketing communications, drop me a line.
